BIO

Me Duchaine practices in environmental and energy law for more than 26 years and expropriation for more than 22 years. For the first 20 years of her career, she practiced with major national law firms, including one where she was a partner, before founding Sodavex in 2009. She also served for six years as President of the Law Section. of the Environment, Energy and Natural Resources of the Quebec Division of the Canadian Bar Association and was a member of the Environmental Law Forum Steering Committee.

Me Duchaine assists her clients in their development projects, such as the expansion of waste disposal sites and the establishment of industrial companies, and advises and represents their clients in obtaining the required environmental authorizations. It also represents them for all environmental aspects of their business transactions, including the negotiation and drafting of clauses as well as the verification of compliance and the required opinions. She is also a seasoned litigator and regularly represents clients before various civil, criminal and administrative courts.
