Jim co-founded Miller Titerle + Co., a law firm that focuses on serving businesses and corporations, and Indigenous organizations.
Jim is a trusted advisor to businesses in forestry, energy, and other sectors, and has practiced for over 40 years in the areas of environmental and commercial law. Clients rely on him for sound, practical, and cost-effective legal advice delivered in a way that’s well-informed and highly experienced.
Jim’s expertise includes negotiating environmental and commercial disputes, purchase and sale transactions of large industrial forestry facilities and general commercial matters. He also advises on regulatory processes in the clean energy sector, real estate transactions, and a wide range of environmental law issues.
Jim has consistently been recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada Directory and The Lexpert Directory in the area of environmental law and was named “Lawyer of the Year” by The Best Lawyers in 2015 for Vancouver Environmental Law.
