Len is a partner and the co-head of Bennett Jones' Environmental Group. Len was one of the first lawyers to be Certified by Ontario’s LSUC as a Specialist in Environmental Law. His practice includes regulatory advice (including environment, and occupational health and safety), risk management, energy, natural resources, sustainability, project construction and finance, environmental assessments and approvals, corporate transactions, environmental management systems, litigation and policy matters. Len assists clients across Canada, the U.S. and internationally. Len is one of the founding members of the Canadian Centre for Environmental Arbitration and Mediation, a former Adjunct Professor at University of Toronto's law school (energy/natural resources; and corporate social responsibility) and is former Chair of the Ontario and National environmental law sections. Len is consistently recommended by leading legal directories such as Chambers Global, Lexpert®, Chambers Canada, The Legal 500, Who’s Who Legal among others, as a leading environmental lawyer and thought leader.
